The "HV" in the tent's model name stands for "high volume," and the interior living space is quite good. Two side doors (on all models but the solo) allow partners to come in and out without getting in each other's way.

Except for the vestibules, the Big Agnes Copper Spur can be pitched without stakes if necessary. That's very convenient for bike camping in populated areas or backpacking in rocky landscapes.

The double wall design allows for comfort in a range of climates. Leave the fly off for ventilation in the heat, close it up for excellent rain protection, and open the vents for condensation control.

Despite all these features, the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL tent is surprisingly lightweight. The solo version weighs 2 lbs 2 oz, while the 3-person version weighs just 3 lbs 8 oz. Not bad!
