Fleece makes these tights warm and cozy, but the wind-blocking front panels take the magic to the next level. Bring on the windy days and chilly fast descents on the bike!
The stretchy fit accommodates any type of movement, from running to cycling to climbing. I find them really comfortable to wear on my bike, and even to sleep in while backpacking. I went up a size for easier layering, and the fit is just right.
I love that the women's version has pockets on each thigh (men's has one on back waistband). One side is perfect for a phone, and the other side's zip pocket holds small essentials securely.
These tights aren't the cheapest (merino wool never is). I worried they might be too much of a splurge, but I've found them to be worth every penny. They're much warmer than my less expensive tights.
